Our Story
Our Mission
Cassey Ho is the CEO and Lead Designer behind POPFLEX.
But it wasn't supposed to be this way.
As the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, Cassey's non-negotiable, pre-destined career path was medicine. Her dream of becoming a fashion designer was severely suppressed, and she ended up studying Biology on a full-ride scholarship at Whittier College.
College was an empty and directionless time until she began teaching Pilates at a local studio. It was then that she noticed a problem: she could not find a cute bag to hold her yoga mat, keys, CD, water bottle and towel. So, she decided to create her own.
This marked the beginning of her design journey.
In 2009, Cassey was graduating and wanted to find a way to keep in touch with her students before leaving. She decided to upload a Pilates workout under the screen name "Blogilates" to a site called YouTube. Little did she know that that decision would change the rest of her life.
Today, Cassey has over 17 million followers and 2.6 billion views with women and young girls from all over the world following her journey as a Head Designer and CEO with 2 successful brands: POPFLEX and Blogilates, which can be found at Target stores nationwide.
From one cute yoga bag to now a showcase of innovative products that help improve women's lives and their relationship with their bodies, Cassey was recently awarded her first patent on her viral Pirouette Skort!
Alongside her husband Sam, COO, and a super sharp team made up of predominantly women, POPFLEX is focused on creating innovative products to solve problems, while of course, making sure you feel great and look cute.
Sit tight and keep watching because the journey has only just begun.
